If you just joined seekBromance, or if you haven’t read any of the older blog posts or newsletters, you might not yet have a clear idea of what seekBromance.com is all about. So, since this is a time of year when lots of us reflect on stuff, I thought it would be worthwhile to revisit the fundamentals of what we at seekBromance do.
The concept of finding bromance online is based on three major ideas:
1. Finding a close guy friend is not only a normal thing for a man of any age to do, but it’s also good for his emotional health.
2. The perfect bro is not going to knock on your door. You have to be proactive, get outside, and go looking for him.
3. When you are looking for a close friend, one of the easiest ways to break the ice with likely candidates is by sharing some common interests. Fortunately, the Internet does a good job of matching different people who have the same interests. Granted, this isn’t a surefire approach, but it seems to be as good a method as any.
So keep going to where people are, keep moving, and keep talking to them. Even if you don’t find a great bro right away, you’ll still run into lots of men and women who are pretty cool in their own right, and who might even be fun to spend time with.
