When I first launched seekBromance, it was just a hobby and a website. Since then, it’s morphed into a side hustle – with way more growth potential than driving for Uber!
Now it’s time to take the next step forward.
In the beginning, I told everyone that my goal was to make seekBromance the largest place on the planet to meet guy friends, or in other words, to bring in a gigantic pool of members. That’s a good thing for everybody. The only problem is how many bros we can actually reach on a marketing budget. Getting a few good members doesn’t take that much, but going after millions of them isn’t cheap.
So, in order to grow the site any bigger, I can’t keep relying on my own resources. I’ve got to have outside investment. There’s no other way.
Relax, bros: I’m not asking you for any money. That would actually be against the law, unless you’re an accredited investor. I’ve considered crowdfunding, and I might do it in the future, but crowdfunding campaigns are never successful unless the network of people you can count on to contribute is very large. seekBromance isn’t at that point yet, to be honest.
Instead, we’ll be networking on a more traditional business funding site and see what kind of interest we can create. And if you are an accredited investor, or know somebody who is, I’m happy to talk to them, of course.
